This awesome thrift store is a branch of the Downtown Rescue Mission (DRM) of Huntsville, AL. The mission functions to give help and support to the helpless and homeless through the ministry of Jesus Christ. The DRM not only provides shelter for the homeless, but they provide meals, food boxes, opportunity for conversions to live for the Lord, and assistance into permanent housing. The Downtown Rescue Mission Thrift Store of Huntsville, AL is one of my favorite stores! This store is very well organized and sells just about anything you can bring to mind. The workers are friendly and the atmosphere is delightful. This store even sells new couches made specifically for the store that come with a life time warranty! For donated items that are rare or expensive, there’s an opportunity to bid on these items to be auctioned. Once a month is customer appreciation day where the store provides free lunch for its customers and a 50% off sale on all Merchandise (excluding socks, sofas, and new mattresses). There is an event calendar provided in the store to inform customers about deals and sales throughout the month to ensure the customers are aware of the great deals! This store always accepts donations of gently used items. I appreciate this store mostly because the prices are reasonable.
If you are near the Huntsville area or planning a visit be sure you visit this thrift store, it will be well worth the trip!
